Another track meet photo. I must say track used to be so busy as Danica did every event so we were running from one event to another for two days. She only does a few now and it is much more relaxed, thankfully the weather was nice this weekend.

Running
Danica doing the relay race at track today. Such a hot day for competing, luckily she doesn't do as many events as she used to.

Laughs
My photo today is not actually a 'good' photo in terms of focus and such. Sometimes when trying to get a quick shot of something, there is no time for figuring out the correct settings and such. When we get together with Jason's family there are always a lot of laughs. I captured several 'laugh' photos - can't wait to scrapbook it! This is the one I am sharing today.

Playing around with Aperature and Shutter Speed
I was playing around with my aperature and shutter speed while taking pictures of my fuschia. This was totally unexpected, the background is all white - you can not see any of the greenery or other flowers in the photo. No photoshopping was done to this!

What's on Your Work desk
So what is on your work desk? I decided to move my little jar of lilacs to my computer desk so that I can smell them while I work. Now if only lilacs were in season during report card time ;)
Just a note, I took this photo in low light with a very slow shutter speed and no tripod, and a small f-stop. I am quite proud of how it turned out, not perfect but I love it!
Yay, finally cut some lilacs
My most favorite time of the year, when I can get some clippings from my lilac bushes. I could just sit and smell lilacs all day long!

It's been awhile, life happens
It has been awhile. So much for Project 365... Life 365 happens! So much to do and no time to take any photos of it. Either that or our weather has been so terrible that I ran out of things to take photos of inside. Anyhow, Danica is sick so she is not competing in the track meet this weekend. I managed to squeak in some time in my gardens again. So much more to do but I am happy, I have done more in them by this time this year than I have any other year. Here are some shots of what is out now.
Love the pop of red from the Japonicas.
Mine and Danica's favorite at this time of year, the full white bush in the front of our house.
And finally, they are coming... Can't wait for my lilacs!
